STEM Day at UNLV in Commemoration of 75th Anniversary of NSF !
We’re excited to invite middle school students to STEM Day on Saturday, May 10, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This free event offers a unique opportunity for students to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on activities and demonstrations.
Event Highlights:
Students will have the chance to watch and participate in live demonstrations featuring robot dogs, spherical robots, rovers, drones, programming games, radio construction, and smart home design. Afterward, we’ll visit the Museum of Illusions for an interactive experience. Pizza and soft drinks will be provided!
Who Can Attend?
- Middle school students are the primary audience.
- Parents and caregivers are welcome to join, especially if they’re driving their children.
- School teachers and parents are encouraged to help out and invite the whole class(es) to attend.
Transportation:
- If a school has 45 or more students interested, we will arrange comfortable coach buses for transportation to- and from UNLV and to the Museum of Illusions.
- Otherwise, you are welcome to drive and park at UNLV (parking is free on weekends). Busses will take you to the Museum of Illusions and back to UNLV.
